Photos From The Camp

I arrived at the camp last Wednesday to a unknown future but the minute I stepped out of the car I knew I had made the right decision.

I don’t have the words to describe how beautiful and peaceful this place is. If I close my eyes I can hear the sounds of Africa and I feel like I’m finally at peace and I’m home.

I get up before the rest of the crew each morning at 5 and go to the hut that serves as our eating area and classroom. Now this building is open on three sides, which you will see in the photos, and in the morning it is still pitch black so I can’t see much. Now I may not be able to see much but boy you sure do hear everything and so far I have had the pleasure of hearing a Leopard, lions and hyenas and I can tell you it’s just a tad uneasy not being able to see but that is what makes it an amazing experience.

The photos I’m posting are all shot from the camp and I hope you enjoy them
