A Drive up into the mountains

On Saturday I had to drive up to Dorrigo to deliver my kayak, I had sold on E bay. I travelled up the coast via Macksville, Nambucca Heads and Urunga before turning inland to Bellingen. The drive from Bellingen to Dorrigo is absolutely breathtaking. The road twists and turns along the valley with the Bellinger River at its side. Once you leave the valley the road winds through the Dorrigo National Park, which is part of the Gondwanna Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. It offers stunning scenery that has been millions of years in the making. I didn’t get to spend the time there I would have liked so I intend to go back their next week to backpack through the area and stay over night.

These are just a few of the photo’s I took on the day
